Why we process personal data
In order to process your ICML registration we need 1, 2, 3 and 6 information.
In order to submit an abstract publication you have to create a designated account on https://lymphcon.azurewebsites.net. The abstract submission system is hosted by Microsoft Azure.
If you create an abstract submission account and submit an abstract, we store 1, 2 and 5 information about first author and co-authors. We store also the abstracts content and, after the reviewers’ evaluation and on the basis of the Organizing Committee decisions, we pass it to our publisher (John Wiley and Sons Ltd) to be included in the Abstract Book.
By visiting our homepage your web browser automatically sends some non-personal identification information to our server, such as: type and version of the web browser, name of your operating system, referrer URL, the address of the page you are visiting. The web server is located in Switzerland and provided by Infomaniak.
We make use of Google Analytics to gather statistics about the usage of our homepage in order to improve the usability and the content we serve.
Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google utilizes the Data collected to track and examine the use of our homepage, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services. Google may use the Data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.
Registration for ICML implies that the participants agree to be contacted by ICML Secretariat at any time for future communication about the Lugano event. On the basis of their partnership agreement, ICML Secretariat and AACR mutually advertise their events and may provide each other with full contact information of participants. Website users can refuse to provide us with personal information. In this case, the registration procedure will not be completed and the participation in ICML will not be possible. ICML Secretariat may share contact details of participants with affiliated external partners (e.g.: travel agencies, hotels, transports) involved in ICML and for reasons related to organization. However, the participants have the possibility, during the registration procedure, to opt out from an ICML external partner mailing list.
Photographs and videos
ICML reserves the right to photograph and videotape the congress and participants and to use such photographs and videos in any internal and external communication referring to ICML (website, Preliminary Program and Call for Abstracts or other publications). By registering, consent to such uses is assumed.
