CULTURAL EVENT (FRIDAY, JUNE 16) - under the auspices of the Lugano City

The 14-ICML Local Organising Committee and the Lugano City invite all attendees to a concert by “I Barocchisti”, one of the most renowned Baroque music ensembles in the world. Based at the Swiss Italian public broadcasting organization, RSI in Lugano, I Barocchisti are internationally recognized for their interpretation of period music on original instruments. Indeed the Teatro alla Scala relies on them and their resident conductor Diego Fasolis for Baroque works.
Together with one of the best interpreters of this genre, the mezzosoprano Lucia Cirillo, I Barocchisti are pleased to propose a program entirely devoted to Handel with the Beauty and Pleasure arias from "The Triumph of Time and Truth" (HWV 46b).

The concert will take place on Friday evening, June 16, at the new Lugano cultural centre, LAC (Lugano Arte e Cultura).
Proceeds from the event will finance the Foundation for Research and Cure of Lymphoma in Ticino and the Adriana Fasolis-Brambilla Foundation – pro Musica et Natura.

Further details on the program, ticket price and booking are available here.
